Welcome to your own piece of paradise on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. This 4.41-acre surveyed island property offers an unmatched blend of privacy, natural beauty, and adventure. With 270 feet of oceanfront, a protected private cove, and deep water anchorage, it’s the perfect setting for your coastal retreat.
Lot 6 features a stunning elevated plateau with panoramic views of West and East Spectacle Islands at the mouth of the LaHave River. The land includes former cultivated fields with remnants of an old apple orchard, untouched hardwood and softwood forest, and ample space for gardening or hiking.
Located on Moshers Island, part of the exclusive LaHave Island group, this boat-access-only island is approximately 700 acres in size with only a few private landowners, ensuring peace and seclusion. Yet it’s just a short 10-minute boat ride from the mainland and minutes to popular Crescent and Rissers Beaches.
Essential services such as power, cellular service, internet, and telephone are available, with a power line already running through the lot. Multiple clean, fresh water sources are ready for a dug well. The shoreline consists of a mix of pebble beach, sand, and granite outcrops—ideal for building a wharf or using the included 1500-pound mooring.
Moshers Island is also home to a Coast Guard-maintained lighthouse and helicopter landing pad, adding to its uniqueness and accessibility.
Enjoy year-round outdoor activities like boating, sailing, kayaking, and wildlife watching. The nearby LaHave area offers local wineries, the beloved LaHave Bakery, the LaHave River Cable Ferry, and access to the LaHave Yacht Club. You're just 20 minutes to Bridgewater, 30 minutes to historic Lunenburg (UNESCO World Heritage Site), and 1.5 hours from Halifax and the International Airport.
